UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — On Nov. 12, the Penn State Student Veteran Organization will host a Veterans Day Ceremony from 11 to 11:30 a.m. on the front steps of Old Main at University Park campus to honor and thank all who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

The annual ceremony will wrap up the University’s seventh annual Military Appreciation Week celebrations, featuring events and activities for the Penn State community to honor the service and sacrifice of military service members, veterans and their families.

This week, Penn State DuBois, Harrisburg and Mont Alto campuses also will host Veterans Day celebrations.

Penn State offers several benefits and programs to support the University’s military community. More than 5,600 Penn State students have direct military ties as either an active-duty service member, a reservist, veteran or military dependent, across all of the University’s campuses, including Penn State World Campus.
