What was your favorite military assignment/duty station and why? Marine Security Guard Detachment Athens, Greece. The country was beautiful and had so much to see and learn about. It was also my last post before getting out of the military and I was able to travel throughout Europe while I was there.
Camilo Gomez, Marine Corps, is a current nursing student here at Penn State. Camilo served as a bulk fuel specialist and later as a Marine Security Guard. This allowed him to see the world including Mexico, Pakistan, and Greece. Camilo is especially fond of this time in Greece were he was able to travel all over Europe.
