What was your favorite military assignment/duty station and why? MDSU2 Detachment Cleveland – small unit tasked with interesting and challenging deep sea recovery work including the salvage of the Civil War Ironclad, USS MONITOR off of Cape Hatteras as well as STS-107 space shuttle recovery search in Toledo Bend Reservoir.

R. Eric Bevevino, Navy, is a proud Nittany Lion, graduating from Penn State’s Naval ROTC in 1990.  He spent 22 years on active duty and with the US Navy Reserves.  Eric started out as a Supply/Diving Officer on his first ship, the USS Preserver (ARS-8) and held various other leadership positions to include Assistant Chief of Staff for Training in a 130-person unit supporting Naval Forces Japan.  Eric is currently the Director of Heavy Duty National Accounts for Valvoline.
