What was your favorite military assignment/duty station and why? Teaching at West Point. I worked with so many different people from different military and civilian backgrounds and specialties. We were all committed to ensuring the best possible academic and professional opportunities for the cadets.

Robert Rabb, Army, LTC (ret), served 25 years in military service. He recently served at The Citadel in Charleston, SC as the Mechanical Engineering Department Head before joining Penn State. His last assignment in the military was at the Trans-Atlantic Division of the Army Corps of Engineers, assisting in the reconstruction effort in Iraq and Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, he worked with the Combined Forces Special Operations Command and served as an AFPAK Hand, embedded in the Ministry of Energy and Water where he helped the ministry coordinate $10 billion of energy projects. Robert currently serves as the Associate Dean for Education in the College of Engineering at Penn State.
