Memorable moment in your Penn State career: I can’t say it’s any one moment, but working in clinical research with Penn State, any time I helped enroll a patient into a trial and seeing them clinically improve their quality of life has been incredibly rewarding.

What was your favorite military assignment/duty station and why? Jacksonville, Florida at NS Mayport because of the people I worked with there. It was a smaller base, and we were a close-knit group compared to the larger base at NAS Jacksonville.
Heather Reesor, Navy, initially joined the Navy due to the recession and not being able to find a job in her initial career field after graduation. It was during her time in the service that she realized her overall career goal was to become a registered nurse which is what she decided to do after her time in service. Heather used her GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program with Alvernia University to complete her studies. She currently works as a research compliance specialist with the Clinical Trials Office at Penn State Hershey.
