What was your favorite military assignment/duty station and why? MCAS New River was my favorite assignment. The camaraderie of the Navy and Marine Corps team cannot be surpassed. As a squadron Flight Surgeon, I was afforded the opportunity to fly many different air frames, provide operational medical support to US Marines, and travel to a wide range of locations. Being a member of that close knit team was an opportunity of a lifetime.

Gregory Robert Frailey, Navy, Captain (ret.), entered Naval Service through a direct commission as a physician. The Health Professions Scholarship Program paved the way for him to achieve his dreams. Gregory extended his mandatory initial commitment of 3 years to 25 years because of his desire to serve the country and continue to support Naval Aviation. He is always happy to help anyone trying to make the decision about military service.
