What was your favorite military assignment/duty station and why? USS Alaska, a Trident Submarine is the best place to be stationed in the Navy. Submarine crews are the best, and have the highest camaraderie. Plus, I enjoyed the area I lived during those years; the Pacific Northwest is beautiful. I was hoping for USS Pennsylvania, but that wasn’t available – Alaska was a great alternative.
